What method do we use to clean
upholstery?

Upholstery cleaning helps furniture stay looking newer for longer, leaving a professional impression on employees, clients and visitors alike.

1. Loosening the Dirt

We use a special textile maintenance machine to first loosen the dirt from the fabric.

2. Mechanical Brushing

We remove the heaviest soiling by brushing it out by hand; some spots may need to be gone over several times.

3. Rinsing Out the Dirt

We thoroughly rinse all the dirt out of the fabric and check the quality of the result.

4. Drying Period

We let the furniture dry after treatment. The drying period depends on the room’s ventilation and typically takes 12 to 24 hours.

5. A Clean, Professional Result

The result is clean furniture that, at worst, has been given a new lease of life, and at best looks like new.

What else should you know
about upholstery cleaning?

As with other specialised cleaning services, it’s generally advisable to clean upholstery once a year, timed to the season when furniture picks up the most dirt. This applies especially to upholstery in office buildings, which is often sat on in outdoor clothing.

With upholstery cleaning, it’s also worth bearing in mind that after the cleaning process, it may, in the worst case, need up to 24 hours to dry depending on the fabric’s characteristics, structure, and the room’s ventilation.

It is important to know that, with the right methods, most stains on upholstery can be removed, and in the case of everyday soiling, professional tools can repeatedly give it a new lease of life.

We also offer our clients a full cleaning service package, where, in addition to other agreed tasks, we monitor the condition of upholstery ourselves and its need for deep cleaning. The purpose of the full package is to take all cleaning responsibility, planning and execution onto ourselves, so the client doesn’t have to spend their own time on it.
