Carpet Chemical Cleaning

Cleaning services:
Carpet cleaning service
During regular cleaning, carpets are usually only vacuumed, which means dirt that has built up deep within the fibres cannot be removed. That’s why it’s advisable to order a chemical carpet cleaning from time to time.

When should you order carpet cleaning?

When regular vacuuming no longer gives the result you want and the carpet has stains that dry cleaning cannot remove.

How long does a carpet take to dry?

Drying time depends on the carpet and the conditions in the room. In a warm, well ventilated room it dries in 12 hours.
Office carpet cleaning, Lux Puhastus OÜ
Chemical carpet cleaning should be timed so that dirt brought in during a preceding dusty or muddy period does not have time to settle deep into the carpet fibres. It’s therefore worth cleaning carpets at the start of summer or winter.
In addition to dirt and dust, carpet fibres also always accumulate microorganisms (bacteria, mould, etc.), which a regular vacuum cleaner cannot remove.
Regular carpet cleaning helps keep the carpet looking fresh for much longer and leaves a professional impression of the company.
We also offer our clients a full cleaning service package, where, in addition to other agreed tasks, we monitor the condition of carpets ourselves and their need for deep cleaning. The purpose of the full package is to take all cleaning responsibility, planning and execution onto ourselves, so the client doesn’t have to spend their own time on it.

Upholstery cleaning and deep floor cleaning can be done at the same visit and built into the maintenance cleaning yearly plan. Read also how to care for carpet, PVC and linoleum. Request a quote.

Frequently asked questions about carpet cleaning

How often should carpeting be deep cleaned?

In offices we recommend deep cleaning carpeting at least once a year. In rooms that see heavy use it may be needed more often.

Does the carpet have to be taken up for cleaning?

No. We clean fitted carpeting on site, with no need to lift it or transport it anywhere.

How long does a carpet take to dry after cleaning?

The drying time depends on the ventilation in the room and on the type of carpet. A carpet usually dries within about 6 to 12 hours.

Can every stain be removed from a carpet?

The result depends on the type of stain, its age and the carpet material. Most fresh stains can be removed, but very old stains, or stains that have set into the fibres, may not disappear completely.

Is an ordinary vacuum cleaner enough?

A vacuum cleaner mainly picks up surface dust. Deep cleaning also removes the dirt, allergens and other particles that have built up in the fibres and cannot be lifted out with an ordinary vacuum cleaner.

What is the difference between carpet washing and carpet dry cleaning?

They are two names for the same job. Carpet washing, carpet cleaning and carpet dry cleaning all mean cleaning the carpet fibres with a cleaning agent and a machine. The only difference is the method: dry cleaning, wet washing or extraction, which we choose based on the type of carpet and how dirty it is.
